Why does God allow suffering? Can we really trust the Bible? Is Jesus the only way? The Bridge Course is designed to wrestle with life's biggest questions.
Gospel Communities are made up of 10–20 adults (plus kids!) who share their lives together. Visitors are welcome to join us!
KIDS & TEENS
Our kids and youth programming provides quality, fun, age appropriate, Biblical instruction for all ages: pre-k through high school.
Ministry teams are a fulfilling way to serve alongside others and meet the needs of others. Some teams require a certain skill or gifting, while others are open to anyone.
We offer a variety of classes to help you grow in your faith no matter what your church background, or how long you have (or have not!) been a believer.
Meet the Leadership
Our pastors shepherd the people of Emmaus Road Church through preaching, teaching, counseling, and leading the church.

Join us on a Sunday Morning
Here's a brief description of our Sunday service
We meet in the Middle School Gym at Sioux Falls Christian (6120 S Charger Circle, Sioux Falls, SD 57108) every Sunday at 10:00 AM. Parking is available in SFC parking lots. Enter through the Elementary School doors (Door B). We dress casually and comfortably. Our Host Team will greet you at the doors. They can answer your questions, show you where to go, or introduce you to other members of our church.
We offer childcare for children 15 months through pre-school during the second half of our worship gathering. Look for the check-in kiosk in the lobby before the service. You can keep your kids with you while we sing, and we will dismiss children after the announcements. We take the safety of children very seriously, and our volunteers have all completed a thorough screening and training process.
The joy we experience in God is something that makes us sing. Our music is a mixture of hymns and contemporary Christian music that reflects a deep passion for God. We sing for 20–25 minutes at the beginning of our gathering and close in song at the end.
God’s Word is central in our worship. You can expect a 35-40 minute message from God’s Word that explains the meaning of the text and its significance for your life. We typically preach through one book of the Bible at a time and occasionally break for a topical series. Our sermons are centered on Christ and applicable to our lives.
The church is not a brick-and-mortar building or a meeting, it’s a community of people saved by God’s grace.
We know that getting to know people, building friendships, and finding your niche can be a bit daunting. But we think you’ll find the people of Emmaus Road Church to be welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Start by coming on a Sunday morning and learn about the specific ways to get connected.
