Join Us on Sunday

If you're new to the Sioux Falls area, looking for answers, or searching for a fresh start, our Sunday morning service is a great place to start.

1

Arrive

We meet in the Middle School Gym at Sioux Falls Christian (6120 S Charger Circle, Sioux Falls, SD 57108) every Sunday at 10:00 AM. Parking is available in SFC parking lots. Enter through the Elementary School doors (Door B). We dress casually and comfortably. Our Host Team will greet you at the doors. They can answer your questions, show you where to go, or introduce you to other members of our church.

Kids

We currently offer childcare for children 15 months through pre-school during the second half of our worship gathering. Look for the check-in kiosk in the lobby before the service. You can keep your kids with you while we sing, and we will dismiss children after the announcements. We take the safety of children very seriously, and our volunteers have all completed a thorough screening and training process.

Singing

The joy we experience in God is something that makes us sing and something we want to share. Our music is a mixture of hymns and contemporary Christian music that reflects a deep passion for God. We sing for 20–25 minutes at the beginning of our gathering and close in song at the end.

Preaching

God’s Word is central in our worship. You can expect a 35-40 minute message from God’s Word that explains the meaning of the text and its significance for your life. We typically preach through one book of the Bible at a time and occasionally break for a topical series. Our sermons are centered on Christ and applicable to our lives.

Community

The church is not a brick-and-mortar building or a meeting; it’s a community of people saved by God’s grace. The best way to get to know our church is to get to know the people of Emmaus Road Church. Outside of our Sunday worship gatherings, we gather throughout the week in Gospel Communities and Discipleship Huddles.

We know that getting to know people, building friendships, and finding your niche can be a bit daunting. But we think you’ll find the people of Emmaus Road to be welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Start by coming on a Sunday morning and learn about the specific ways to get connected.
